A group of budding Year 6 engineers visited Manchester University on Tuesday for the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) competition.
The girls learned about the theme of their engineering competition which means they are now ready to start making Marble Run from scratch.
They participated in five different activities and seminars including electronics, design and technology, literacy, science and maths.
Between them, the girls decided to take on the literacy and electronics categories in the competition.
They are now looking forward to using new programming skills and how to make a movie.
