Girls' Junior School & Infant School Update - 19/01/2018

Dear Parents,

‘Dream Big’... ‘You can be anything you want to be,’ was the clear message in our Year 6N Assembly! This of course encompasses our School aims: Scholarship, Character, Enrichment and Partnerships where our children are encouraged to reach for the stars and believe in themselves. We are very proud to be part of such a great school where ‘Big Dreams’ are fostered and children are happy and thrive.

It has been another incredibly busy week, the children have been industrious building circuits and creating interesting designs as you will see in our news stories. This week children have had opportunities to appraise their peers' work and give feedback, which is always an interesting activity!

We are looking forward to The Young Shakespeare Company performing The Tempest in School next week. Such performances are invaluable experiences for the children not only educationally but they feed the soul with creativity. Inspiration beyond the classroom is an important part of our curriculum and one we take very seriously. We are really excited to welcome our visitors next week.

If possible, schedules permitting please find time to attend the Mathletics evening coming up this month. It is always helpful to have input from the professionals in such areas, staff and parents have been invited. We would also encourage you to pop in to see us at our Parent Forums over the coming months. It would be lovely to see you and hear about any ideas and suggestions you may have or even if you would just like to listen and enjoy a coffee at the end of the day!

Have a great weekend.
