The snowy weather gave Year 5 the opportunity to explore negative numbers 'hands-on' in maths this week.
They braved the blizzards to read minus temperatures on thermometers and realised why they were all feeling so cold: one playground reading was -4 degrees Celsius!
The girls charted the change in temperature across the day and were interested by their findings.
Before half term, Year 5 girls gave a presentation to Year 3 about keeping safe on social media.
Their presentations were filled with excellent information and quiz questions.
Before half term, Year 3 spent time today exploring the School surroundings and searching for worms to use in their mini compost pots.
The girls found quite a few!
Before half term, Year 3 worked on their performance poetry using Spike Milligan’s On The Ning Nang Nong.
