Having studied the Iron Man by Ted Hughes, Year 4 created their own robots and wrote stories about them.
On Tuesday 6th March at 1.30pm Year 3 left school to sleepover at the Catalyst Science Museum in Widnes.
The group arrived at the museum and were welcomed by the staff. The first activity they completed was a Fantastic Plastic workshop. They made their very own keyrings to bring home with them.
After this they had exclusive access to all the galleries in the Museum and spent the early evening exploring the interactive galleries.
After a quick play outside they came in for our tea. As night drew in they went up the glass lift to our room for the night, the 4th floor observatory.
They set up their camping beds and got themselves comfy with popcorn and juice to watch Night At The Museum.
In the morning, after a pretty good night’s sleep, they came down for breakfast and were treated to a Light show by the museum staff.
The girls and staff had a wonderful time. The girls must be highly commended for their outstanding behaviour which was noted by not only Mrs Aylin, Miss Hall and Ms Turner, but also the Catalyst Museum staff and members of the public.
