There was Ramsbottom Music Festival double success for Scarlett O’Rourke (5N) on Saturday.
She was awarded 1st place in her flute and violin classes and 2nd place for piano. Well played, Scarlett!
Year 4 took their maths lesson out onto the corridor on Wednesday to investigate and calculate the perimeter of shapes that they had created.
Not only were they measuring and working together as a team but they also had some quite tricky addition calculations to make too, especially for the 11-sided shape that one group created!
Last Friday, Kate Pessagno, her mother and sisters went to the Manchester Museum to see Tim Peake’s space craft in which he travelled to and from space in.
They had been specially invited to attend. After they had a speech from the Director of the Museum, they experienced what it would be like on the ISS (International Space Station).
There was a bus for them to explore. They went upstairs to the top of the bus and used VR headsets to experience what it’s like travelling in the spacecraft.
This bus goes to schools all around Manchester to inspire children.
