Three Year 5 girls attended a Science Master Class at Manchester University run by the North West Gifted and Talented Charity.
The three girls, Zoe, Lucy and Ciara, experimented with reversible and irreversible changes as well as discovering non-Newtonian fluids.
They learnt about an upside down human circulation system by thinking about what happens when they stand on their heads (They actually had to think upside down!).
They also extended their prior knowledge of chromatography and then learnt about how it is used in the real world.
They thoroughly enjoyed the day and even on the tram coming back to school discussed how they were going to discover more non-Newtonian fluids!
A huge thank you for SEERIH at Manchester University who organised this event.
Year 3 have been outside studying tags used in Urban Art.
They created their own using chalks on the playground.
