Winners selected for Extreme Reading photo competition

The winners of the Girls' Junior School and Infant School's 'extreme reading' competition were announced in Assembly on Monday.

In March, pupils were asked to have a photograph taken reading somewhere 'extreme' and sent it to School and part of promoting reading for pleasure.

After a fantastic range of entries, which are on display in the Infant School, winners were chosen from each Key Stage in the Schools.

Entries included some very unusual places including the top of the Empire State Building, in the swimming pool and at the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

The winners selected, including their photograph, can be seen below. The winners were each awarded a Dairy Milk bar of chocolate.
