On Tuesday 14th May, Year 10 geographers travelled to Wilmslow to investigate the River Bollin as part of the GCSE Fieldwork.
Once we arrived there, everybody enthusiastically got in the river and began to measure its width, depth and velocity.
The weather was luckily very good, so despite getting soaked by the river and being stung by nettles, we quickly dried off in the sun, taking in every of it ounce while it lasted.
We finally headed to the Sale Water Park to learn about river management strategies and to end the trip, everybody enjoyed an ice-cream after a busy day of fieldwork!
