Bury Grammar School Girls held its annual Art Exhibition on Thursday, showcasing the fantastic work of Years 11 and 13.
The Art Department has an inherently strong sense of individuality and creativity and continues to grow from strength to strength. The pupils take huge pride in their work and relish in the opportunities to experiment and explore their ideas thoroughly.
Parents were able to look through the girls sketchbooks at the exhibition and observe their creative journeys and ultimately to the realisation of their intentions.
The title of the exhibition, CHAOS & Calm, was derived from the atmosphere, work created and the girls personalities.
The 2019 artists, Year 11 and 13 students, have demonstrated an incredible work ethic. They have relished their Art Trips, seeing world famous art, as well as creating memories for life.
The worked produced in the exhibition has taken an incredible amount of commitment and the girls have worked in various medias including printing, photography, film and sculpture to name but a few.
