Year 3 girl Eleanor was the lead mascot at the Manchester City Women’s Football Club fixture against Sunderland on Wednesday afternoon.
Eleanor, who has been playing football with the boys in her class since she has been in Cygnets, opted to be mascot for City’s women’s team as opposed to the men’s team to support women’s football.
She walked out with City goalkeeper Ellie Roebuck, featured in the match programme and her name was displayed on the big screen.
At the end of the match, she met City forward Keira Walsh and had her programme signed by Keira.
Eleanor, a midfielder/forward, currently plays for BGS Girls’ Junior School Year 6 football team despite being three year groups below.
