Year 5 girls enjoyed a two-night residential visit to Llandudno last week.
The sun shone upon them whilst the girls painted landscapes on the Great Orme and also created ‘Beach Art’ on the West Shore. Conwy Castle was a bit damp but it made the girls think about what it would have been like to have lived there when it was a new-build in 1287.
The girls enjoyed all of the activities, especially taking a bus ride inside a mountain to see the Dinorwig hydroelectric power station.
The Hotel Dunoon treated the girls to silver-service fine dining and superb three-star accommodation.
The girls were amazing ambassadors for Bury Grammar School - their behaviour was impeccable and they were an absolute pleasure to take away.
