On Wednesday 22nd May, 34 Year 9 boys set out on their first GCSE Geography fieldtrip.
They headed to the River Bollin in Wilmslow, Cheshire in bright sunshine.
Once in their wellies they set about investigating river width, depth, velocity and even measuring pebble size.
The boys then headed to Sale Water Park (sadly no slides) to study the flood defences.
The day was really enjoyable, and it really helped seeing what had been studied in the classroom in real life.
